The Barstool Philosophers in search for a new Voice!!!!!!!!

And here the never expected: Leon Brouwer, our amazing vocalist and longtime friend, has left the Barstools after 10 inspiring years! Due to personal reasons, Leon explains in his own words: ” It’s time to move on and discover other things in life” which we fully respect and we wish him all the Love and Luck in every way possible. Leon will always be connected to the Barstools: if not in Cafes then surely as a reflection in our Music!

Of course we are blown away, but are very clear and motivated at pushing The Barstools to a next level. So, we invite EVERYONE with a BEAUTIFUL VOICE and SERIOUSLY interested to contact us ( contact@thebarstoolphilosophers.com ). Please make sure you have some time (as in ‘pulse’) and you can at least sing a straight note (without grunts) for 2 seconds. Who dares…?

Mikko Laine R.I.P

We want to send out our sympathy to the family, friends and bandmembers of Mikko Laine, guitarplayer of “Sole Remedy”. He died after a horrible accident right after their Progpower gig. It’s really sad that Progpower 2011 had to have such a tragic ending!!!
