At this moment I’m playing on a 1979 GIBSON LES PAUL CUSTOM, a MARSHALL JCM 900 Lead Stack, a Line6 PODXT Live effect processor and a Yamaha semi-acoustic.
INFLUENCES
I’m influenced by musicians and bands that play alternative/strange/innovating/emotional music that is also interesting from an artistic point of view, no matter what genre. I always try to put those elements in our own music.
A few examples of bands or musicians who knocked me of my feet are: David Bowie, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Alan Holdsworh, Chick Corea, Killing Joke, Steely Dan, Journey, Rush, Roxy Music, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Genesis, King Crimson, Frank Zappa, Thin Lizzy, Jimi Hendrix, Billie Holiday as well as bands like Slayer, Death, Devin Townsend, Faith No More, early Metallica, F ates Warning, King’s X, Joe Satriani, Messhuggah, Opeth, Smashing Pumpkins, Queensryche, The Tea Party, Radiohead, Kashmir, Talk Talk, Tool, Steve Smith and Vital Information, Frank Gambale, John Scofield, Mats and Morgan and so on, and so on….
FOR THE FUTURE
I hope to make great albums with The Barstool Philosophers and to do a lot of great gigs with them and to have our own studio……
